    Story

We would like to buy crayons, pencils, pens and notebooks for kids in a rural Mexican school. Here's the story:

A few months ago, I was in Mexico attempting to film a documentary, and I found myself in a small local school, asking the kids: what is happiness, and, whether you can 'buy it'. The answer was not quite what I expected: many of them said 'Yes', because you can then buy shoes, backpacks, crayons, notebooks - which they could use to learn. This was not a normal school - for most of them the day started at 13.00 when they finished work on the family farm.

I was invited to the lesson with 6-7 year olds, and I saw one little boy with a tiny, 4 cm pencil, trying to put broken lead back again inside the pencil... I found a pen inside my bag and gave it to him. At that moment, the little boy became the happiest kid in the world, he was smiling and showing it to all his friends. So this is the plan.

In 2 weeks I am coming back to this school, and I would really like to raise some money to buy some things that they need the most, such as crayons, pens, pencils and notebooks.
