I'm a single mom with a 3 year old and pregnant. We live in a block of flats that is full of drug takers where the smell comes through into my flat. And alcoholics. There is constant banging, slamming doors, shouting, screaming, swearing in the hallway, fighting and domestic violence. I've been to the council so many times but they don't seem to take me seriously. They speak to the tenants and the noise stops for a few days even a week then starts again. There was a fight outside my front door one night and there were knives involved police came out but did nothing. I'm fed up of calling the police and telling the council because nothing gets done. So I need to move out of this situation for the sake of my child and unborn baby and it seriously affects my ptsd and mental health problems. Doctor and my cpn wrote letters to take to council yet it hasn't helped me get out of here any faster. I've been here nearly 2 years and it's just getting worse and worse. No child should have to live in this atmosphere.
