Story
My friend Angela is an amazing lady who has unfortunately diagnosed with ovarian cancer. The good news is she had a full histerectomy to a tumour and is making good progress in her recovery. The bad new is now she needs to have chemo as it took so long to diagnose, the tumour ruptured. Before being diagnosed angela has had a very difficult year and a half trying to find out what was wrong with her as she has been in pain and extremley tired. This has caused financial hardship so she has nothing saved to get her through this hard time. She never has a day off, a holiday or any time or money for herself. Her work, her animals and the dogs of Brighton and Hove always come first. Angela lives in a large house where a huge mix of animals, mostly rescued, all live together. She has dogs, cats, chickens, geese, ducks, a cockatoo, an african grey parrot and a fish. None of these animals live in cages they are all free to mostly be where they like during the day, with outside access and they all get on very well together. Angela has been a dog walker in Brighton for over 10 years and due to her having this business she is not entitled to any money. If she is to have all the chemo she needs she will lose her house and her animals as she needs to give the money earnt through this business to the wonderful woman keeping it going while she is ill. If we manage to get some money together all these animals plus angela will be able to continue to live in her house and she will be able to get the help she needs over these next six months. Allowing her to get fully cancer free, as she is expected witch chemo to make a full recovery and for her to get on with her busy selfless life. Thanks so much in advance for any help you can give her during this difficult time.
