Hi everyone i am kate , archie musgraves mum , back in march my son archie was took in hospital seriously poorly were we were told he had meningitus b and sepsis and was in a coma for 5 days fighting for his life in intensive care. On numerous occasions we got told he may not make it and needed continuous care off a fantastic hospital ( manchester childrens hospital) it was by far the worst time of mine and my familys life s. Archie is now on the mend and has been very very lucky with big improvements all the time but he is having continuous support and appointments off many services within manchester hospital and will do for the next 2 years he was a very lucky boy and thats thanks to the amazing staff on the burns and plastic unit which helped Archie with his recovery and all his scars and wounds which is still ongoing , they did an amazing job at treating the aftermath of the meningitus and sepsis so as a family we feel we need do give something back to this amazing hospital what saved archies life and would be forever grateful if any of you wanted to donate aswell as we are a small community and the support archie got was unreal and were so so thankful - as most of you know were doing a fundraiser on the 27th of july at st peters pavillion hindley 4 pm to raise money aswell even if we manage save one more childs life ill be happy and i know you lot will too 💙 sending big hugs kate 💙
