Like many businesses, Naburn Grange Riding Centre has suffered as a result of Covid-19. With reduced lessons and activities the centre has taken less money than usual; with strict welfare standards to meet for the horses and the maintenance of a large yard this leaves less in the pot for the ‘fun activities’. Some of my best memories growing up are from riding and taking part in Pony Club activities at Naburn Grange, not only did I enjoy myself but learnt valuble life skills, a good work eithic, responsibility, got lots of exercise and not to mention made the best of friends (horses and people included)! Especially around the festive period and into the new year Naburn Grange usually runs lots of themed activities and I would love to make sure that (once it‘s safe to do so) these activities and the equipment needed for them are just as good as I remember and hopefully, with enough donations, even better! The staff, Pony Clubbers and horses work so hard year round and after the exceptionally tough year that 2020 has been please donate and help make some of these fun activities the best they’ve ever been!
