Story

Karen and Charlie Slade have been working very hard to establish a conservation business, investing all their time and more money than they can afford, to getting the business off the ground. Whilst working on a contract , they have been hit with a cruel setback. Stolen - from Thornborough Old Bridge, Buckingham. 21/6/18. overnight, between 5.30pm and 8 am the 22/6/18. Hand tools, and the hand tools of their two conservators, together with the Baron M200 200 litre 110 volt forced action mixer and the Generator. Plus much, much more. The equipment was not left carelessly, but locked in the proper containers, behind locked gates, the thieves used force and equipment to steal everything down to the buckets of lime mortar. It was not possible to insure the site, as it is on a country road, so this loss must be borne by the business, the business is not able to do that, so it is Kate and Charlie who will have to go into serious debt if the business is not to crumble, and all their hard work be lost. Kate and Charlie are not asking you for this money, I am a friend who has had to persuade them to let me ask for them. They are the kindest, gentlest people, who see the good in everyone, and always give help to others, this is a chance for their friends, and anyone else who thinks that the thieves and bullies in this world should not be allowed to bring the good people down, to just take some of the loss for them. When we see a big problem, we know we can't solve it on our own, and a couple of quid from us seems like an insult, or a drop in the ocean, but if the drops all add up, and we can see the trickle of help grow? Please, can we just get together here, and help . Thank you.
