Story
In January 2019 we visited Babworth Animal Rescue Kennels to donate some bedding, little did we know we would be walking out of there a couple of weeks later having fallen in love with and adopted our own fluffy little potato; Nelly. The people running the rescue work tirelessly and with limited resources to make sure that dogs and cats from the UK and abroad are given the best possible chance to a new life.
In dedication to our little Romanian pupper i’m aiming to cover the distance (virtually) between Romania’s two major cities; Cluj-Napoca and Bucharest - a distance totalling 436km - virtually.
Please donate whatever you can to help these amazing people carry on doing a fantastic job for floofs rescued from horrendous conditions.

5 years agoSo at some point last week, quietly and without fanfare...WE DID IT!! In fact we got so carried away we actually sailed straight past our target of 436km and hit 450km instead 😂 It’s been tougher than expected and maybe summer was a bad choice (this summer especially thanks to SO.MUCH.RAIN.) but we did it and I’m so pleased we can donate a lovely big chunk of cash to Babworth Animal Rescue. Thank you so much for joining us on this epic journey ❤️ Kate & Nelly

5 years agoI spent a couple of days last week gathering up those miles in 28degree heat! Each morning before it got too unbearable to walk I set out on the beachfront aiming for 5k a day (admittedly I didn’t quite hit that but the intention was there!). Across the week we’ve bagged 23.4km meaning we have just 16.46km to go - THIS WEEK WILL BE THE WEEK I CAN FEEL IT :)
