Story

My name Kate Black and I am setting up this Fundraising page on behalf of my Daughter Emily. She wants to get to the worlds so a few people suggested a crowdfunding page. Here is her story....

My name is Emily Black and I am 10 years old.I live in Crawshawbooth with my mum Kate, my dad Chris, my brother Thomas and my dog Sam. My brother started to race BMX over two years ago and after a while of watching I got the bug and started to practice, and I love it! I raced in the North Region BMX series for the 2017 series at expert level and completed the season in first place in the age 9-10 girls category. Here is a picture of me and my brother with our trophies, Tom finished in fourth.

I also competed in 8 out of the 12 races in the National series which meant all my family had to travel up and down the country. I completed the National series in 15th place overall, 5th place in the age 10 girls category.

In September me and my family travelled up to Scotland to compete in the Scottish Championships where i won the scottish title.

For my first season racing i am really happy with my results.

My mum and dad recieved notification recently that i had qualified with these results to compete in the European and World championships for Great Britain. The European Championships are held in Serrains in France and the Worlds in Baku, Azerbaijan. We decided to set up this page as i would really love to attend these races, represent my country and gain valuable experience, but need a little financial help. Any donations no matter the size would help so much and be much appreciated.

Many Thanks for reading my story.
