Story
In 2018 I be travelling to Vietnam. This expedition will include a 5 day hike and a community project. During the project we will stay in a small village and help at a local school. There we will work on our community project with Volunteers For Peace Vietnam. We will be helping renovate the school as well as teaching the local children English and organising activities for them. We will be living with them and eating with them, and for a week we will be part of their community. Which will give us the chance to learn about their lives and how they are different to ours.
I am so lucky to be given this opportunity and I am so excited to go. Thank you.

7 years agoYesterday we did our 30 mile cycle ride. The weather was horrific and the course kept managing to produce massive hills where we were not expecting them, in fact the last few we walked up them. But we made it! I don't think I would've continued if it wasn't for the encouragement from the other riders and the continuous support from my mum. Also, I had a voice in the back of my head telling me people are paying money for me to do well in this. So thank you to everyone who donated, I really appreciate it. Katherine xx
