I've raised £1000 to Fund a health and welfare intervention project for street cats in Jakarta, Indonesia
Organised by Katherine Duffy
There is a large population of street cats in Countrywoods, many of whom suffer from illness and disease. Very few are sterilized and so kittens are being born in unsafe areas with insufficient food sources, painful genetic defects or hereditary diseases. This can result in suffering on behalf of both mothers and kittens, many of whom do not survive more than a few weeks. Your donations will go towards funding interventions such as health check and sterilization drives whereby cats are trapped, neutered and released, thus helping to humanely maintain a healthy street cat population. This project is operated with the support of Jakarta Animal Aid Network (JAAN).
