I'm starting a fundrasier to raise money for menstrual cups* for women in Filipino jails, who are experiencing #periodpoverty.

We have already given out 50 menstrual cups this summer, but have around 200 more women on the waiting list. On talking to these women, we found that when many of them have to use torn rags from their clothes or diapers, when on their period. This is impacting significantly on their quality of life and health.

Integritas Healthcare^ is a medical NGO with a heart for detainees and their dependents, working in the Philippines. With your help, we will be able to raise the money needed to buy more menstrual cups to reach as many women as people. We hope to begin giving them out from February. We will also be going back in April and carrying out research on whether the menstrual cups are suitable for Asian prisoners.
