Hi everyone!

I am trying to raise money for a very special and lovely Nepali woman so she is able to get the cancer treatment she needs. Although she has received some chemotherapy, she has now been in the Delhi cancer hospital since the 8th of July without getting any further treatment. As the cancer treatment in Nepal is such poor quality and risky, Padma and her husband Shanker have had to go all the way to Delhi to get the treatment she needs, only to be let down there as well. She desperately needs a 6th cycle of chemotherapy and is unable to get it. As it is quite a bit of money, I said I would help Shanker raise money in England as well as him trying his hardest in Nepal and India.

I met Padma and her husband Shanker when I went volunteering in Nepal and I stayed with them for a few days in Kathmandu. I couldn't have asked for better people to show me Nepal and the Nepali culture, and by the time I left Nepal we were close friends and stayed in contact with Shanker. It's such a horrible thing to see happen to such kind and caring people, they really opened my heart to their culture and ways and I hate to see them in this position. If anyone could possibly help in any way at all I would be so grateful, even if that just means sharing the page.
