In memory

Story

Steve Simpson was the Handyperson at Highbank Intermediate Care, who sadly died suddenly at age 56 from a Heart attack. He was a man who meant so much to so many people due to his kindness and ability to be there to help clients, relatives and the staff both in and out of work. The time he gave to the clients at Highbank and the special relationships he forged will not be forgotton. He was previously in the Scots Guards and continued that dedication by supporting fundraising efforts for Poppy Scotland, he would spend many of day in the supermarkets giving out Poppies and his displays for Remembrance Day in Highbank were memorable. As he had an impact on so many people we really want to do him proud and ensure his memory lives on. Therefore we are fundraising for Poppy Scotland as this was a charity so close to his heart, we are also fundraising for a memorial garden within Highbank for the clients, staff and wider community to enjoy, thanks in advance for your support. We will be getting clients and staff involved in activites and will update page with what we have been doing as we go.
