Story

Oh he is gonna hate me for this!🤣🤣🤣

We have been approached to help put on Knutsford's very first PRIDE, all in aid of The Proud Trust...and how the hell were we ever going to say no to that!

If you don't know in a nutshell Pride isa celebration of everything that makes us different, recognition of the beauty of those differences, and promotion of the rights of each of us to be ourselves. This incredible movement brings about positivity and celebration in the face of prejudice and stigma. The central idea is to bring about respect and acceptance through having a bloody good party and showing everyone how we are all the same deep down.

On Sunday 24th in the KING EDWARDS COURT CARPARK we are holding a family friendly event from 2-8pm. There will be stalls selling food, sweet treats and ice cream...face painting, games and raffles...and performances from local bands, dance troops and epic DJs.

BUT WE ALSO NEED A HEADLINER!!!

Well if you didn't know (or like him chose to forget) my hubby had a bit of a singing career back in the 90s...which included the smash hit "I breathe again".

Well Adam hasn't performed that song as a solo artist in over 16 years...so we thought what better time than to support the amazing PROUD TRUST. The only snag is if you know Adam, you'll know how much he hates singing in front of people...so basically I need your help. If you can help us smash this fundraising girl, let's be honest he doesn't really have a choice!!

In a nutshell...IF YOU DON'T DONATE...HE CAN BAIL ON DOING IT! And lets be honest...we'd all like to see him squirm just a little bit (all for a good choice mind!)

Everyone is welcome...hell even the dogs (there will be mobile dog washing while you wait!)...and it promises to be an amazing Family Day out of celebration!

The whole thing is in aid of the Proud Trust which helps support individuals AND their families as they go on their own journeys of discovering who they are.

Amazingly the whole event is FREE!
