Story

Hi, my name is Kath. I became blind suddenly 3 years ago and until Rotherham sight and sound opened i felt very alone and isolated. Since getting my guide dog, it has given me a new lease of life. The support workers and clients at Rotherham sight and sound have helped me enormously to come to grips with my sight loss. We need funds for Rotherham sight and sound to continue to run permantly. The loss of this place would be detramental to so many people including myself.

In order to help rise money for Rotherham sight and sound, I will be getting a tattoo at the grand age of 71 years old. The tattoo will be a portrait of my gorgeous guide dog, Orchid, who has helped me to gain my independance since my loss of sight. The lovely tattoo artist who will be doing this for me is Rachael. She has volunteered to do this for me for free so that all the money raised will be able to go towards Rotherham sight and sound.
