    Story

The Make It Better team is a part of Women’s Aid Antrim, Ballymena, Carrickfergus, Larne, and Newtownabbey (ABCLN). We provide services to children and young people who’s education has been affected by domestic violence. Constant change, disruption and violence in a young person’s life can make school a real challenge and diminish their ability to engage. Young people are the hidden victims of domestic violence and are significantly at risk of school dropout, exclusion and risk taking behaviours. As we are a charitable organisation our income is based on fundraising which is why we have taken on the challenge of running the relay at the Belfast Marathon 2018. I would really appreciate any donations large or small for this amazing cause. Thank you!
