Story

We're two qualified Teachers of the Deaf who work at Blanche Nevile School for Deaf children in North London. We're committed to Deaf education and very excited to have been successful in joining this year's trip to Nepal through the amazing Deaf overseas volunteering organisation VountEars!

During the two week volunteering program, we will be supporting a local Deaf school just outside Pokhara. The school has around 250 deaf students with 24 teachers plus support staff. Our work will focus on renovations to the classrooms and dormitories and the money raised will go towards supplies.

During our time we will also be involved in various activities with the local deaf students as well as travelling to school everyday on the bright yellow school bus with 50 deaf students and staff! A great and social way to start the day!

So if you're interested in helping a very worth cause we would be grateful for any donations received. We look forward to giving you updates before and during the trip.

Thank you for your support.

Lauren and Kathryn
