Mayor of Durham – 100k run

I am raising money for The Cheesy Waffles Project, which has been supporting young people with additional needs during the coronavirus pandemic.

I am raising money for The Cheesy Waffles Project, which offers fantastic support to children, young people and adults age 7-30 years with additional needs in County Durham. As Mayor of Durham, I have chosen to support The Cheesy Waffles Project as my official charity for my term in office.

Throughout the coronavirus pandemic, the team have been working exceptionally hard to offer socially distanced activities to help young people learn new skills, try new activities, stay in contact with their friends and most importantly have fun.

The activities have given young people a vital focus during what has been a difficult time for all of us, and I've set myself a challenge to help give something back to this amazing group.

To show my support, I will be raising funds for the project by running 100k throughout August, covering between 3 and 4 km every day for the whole month.
