In November last year, our twins Robbie and Lily arrived. They made an early and abrupt entrance into the world and spent some time in Plymouth’s transitional care unit. The support we received was second to none and we are forever grateful for everything the team did for the twins and also for us as new parents of two.

In August I am doing a 12 kilometre run, one kilometre for each day we spent in hospital, whilst pushing Robbie and Lily. I am not a runner and Robbie and Lily aren’t always much help so this will be a challenge. This will be to raise money for Plymouth transitional care unit. The money raised by this will be put towards improving patient and family care and experiences, through the purchasing of equipment, resources, environmental décor and staff study.
