I've raised £200 to donate to Inside Stuart's Head Foundation.

March is Brain tumour awareness month and I'm raising awareness of this great foundation founded in memory of Stuart.
There are 12,300 new brain, other CNS and intracranial tumours cases in the UK every year so I will be walking 12,300 steps a day to raise awareness of this!
In January 2021 Stuart was diagnosed with a grade 4 Glioblastoma at 39 years old. This difficult news didn’t hold Stuart back from living life to the fullest and on 25th January 2021 he asked Esther to marry him!
Their friends and family helped to plan their special day in just 36 hours!
Through Stuarts diagnosis, with the help of friends and family they worked tirelessly to find treatment options, attend zoom calls with consultants across the world and try to navigate their new normal. Unfortunately there are not many successful options available via the NHS and treatment hasn’t improved in decades.
But there is ground breaking personalised treatment based on the patients specific tumour DNA available in Germany through a clinic called CeGat which has to be privately paid for.
Tragically Stuart died in November 2021 before he could complete his treatment in Germany. Esther has now dedicated the Inside Stuart’s Head website to help other patients find the information they desperately searched for and to help fundraise for others to get help through Patient Navigators and donations to other patients treatment.
