My name is Katie Tew and I have been involved in guiding since I was 5 when I joined Rainbows and I have continued through Brownies, Guides and I am now a member of the Senior Section. I also help with our Brownie unit. I have been selected to attend Denmark Jamboree 2017 where 40,000 Danish and international scouts and guides will meet in the beautiful surroundings of Sønderborg.

It is a fantastic opportunity and I will gain a number of skills and experiences as I will take part in a diverse range of activities. All of which will be adventurous, thought provoking, challenging and fun. I will get to meet all kinds of other young people from around the world, make life long friends, and come home having had an enriching life changing experience.

As part of my fundraising efforts I am doing a calendar sweepstake where people have the opportunity to buy a date, 1 for £3 or 2 for £5 and the winning date will receive £100.
