Camp International is an organisation focused on ethical projects, protecting the environment and encouraging sustainable development. The organisation never leaves a project unfinished and this the main reason why I chose to volunteer with them. In Peru I will be working with isolated and poor communities, helping prepare a hygienic place to make meals, improving school infrastructure, teaching English, helping restore and construct community buildings and much more.
This is a part of the world where people are disadvantaged especially those in cut off rural communities and I want to play my part in helping each child fulfill their potential
I am currently working four days a week as well as volunteering at the Citizen's Advice Bureau on my gap year but unfortunately this won't cover the cost of my 2 month trip.
