Hi everyone, as u may no Kristina is really unwell. She has been fighting many battles and illnesses for quite some time. She has had very long lengthy hospital stays, being proded and poked. Given IVs after IVs, meds after meds however, her current treatment plan is not working.
The doctors in the UK can not do any more. I am hoping between all of us, close friends, family, her ex work colleagues. We can all help 2 get Kristina the best private medical care. It is unfortunately in the USA.
Kristina was a normal girl going out and about with friends heading off to uni 2 start a nursing degree. She should of had the time of her life...It then went horribly wrong. She became unwell in her lectures and ended up in ITU, having had serious heart and Kidney problems. The days went by & at one point we thought we were going to loose her. Kristina however had other ideas. She's a fighter. She wasn't going anywhere. She pulled through.
Months went by with kristina going back & forth for hospital outpatient appointments only 2 be told her conditions had deterorated, she needed hoapitalisation again. This time it was for 10 months. She contracted sepsis again through her central line which is keeping her alive..she very nearly died again. Not Kristina though...not yet. She wasn't ready.
Her friends old and new visited when they could e ensure she wasn't going theough this alone. Now things have taken a turn for the worst again. She lives between home and when things get very bad back in hospital on a pallative care ward District nurses visit to look after her but she is deterorating. Shes swollen full of fluid and struggling to breathe on a daily basis. Please can we try & help her
