I'm running the Colchester Half Marathon in March to raise funds for the conversion of Chariot 180, aka the Colchester Mobile Homeless Shelter.

Colchester Rough Sleepers Group is converting an old coach into a mobile over-night shelter for the homeless people of Colchester. This takes money and time and through their incredible fundraising activities so far, they've already got the bus and have started transforming it into a place that will be safe and comfortable for anyone who's staying the night.

I'm running the half marathon in 2019 to raise funds (and awareness) for the conversion work, as well as towards the on-going essentials they'll need once the bus is on the road! [ I got to sit behind the wheel a few weeks ago but can promise I won't be driving it ;) ]

Running 13 miles will be a massive challenge for me but one that I'm really looking forward to... I think. .. Any support, no matter how small or large, will be very gratefully received.
