Story
Our lovely daughter Katie aged 14, has been diagnosed with an extremely rare condition called ROHHAD syndrome. We spend months in hospital every year and the wonderful NHS staff always give her amazing care.
Since Covid 19 started Katie has been in many times including a 3 week stay following a 10 hour operation to remove a spinal tumour.
My wife Rebecca who is a beauty therapist always stays in hospital with Katie and has noticed how sore the poor nursing staff and doctors , cleaners hands and skin are from their extreme clinical standards from contiued hand washing and wearing PPE. They resemble space men and woman in full haz mat suits!
To fill her time ,and to help deal with the emotional side of having Katie so poorly ,Rebecca decided with Katies help , and whilst being in critical care from the high dependency unit at Bristol Children‘s hospital to start making up, some much needed personal special skin care packages for the lovely nursing staff , using Body shop products which are kind and sensitive to skin.
Rebecca started sharing in her group care packages .

This has been so over whelming we have set up this go fund donation page.
we were just hoping to help the high dependency unit but looking at this we can now help more of our NHS heroes over Bristol and weston super mare.
We hope to make up 100 at a cost of £10 pound each. We will then distribute in a covid safe manner to the frontline nurses. On the wards that Katie had stayed, which pretty much all of them. Any donation no matter how small to support this great cause! This will also be a positve for Katie whos helping Mum !
we cannot thank you enough! The nursing staff are already blown away by the sheer generosity and kindness! This is so so apreciated xxx
