I've raised £5000 to help fund a new NGO in Peru HOME FOR HOPE which helps abused young women, providing them with somewhere to live, work and counselling.

Our mission is to provide a safe home for teenage mothers who have been victims of abuse, where they can raise their children, rehabilitate and develop skills through education.
The intake of our girls range from 12 to 16 years old, and their children range from newly born to 3 years old. Each was violated at a very young age – and fell pregnant with a child while still a child herself. Regretfully, the majority of these cases are a result of horrific sexual abuses such as incest, rape and domestic violence.
The program will initially provide 24/7 care for ten young mothers and their children. It will also provide a range of educational programs that aims to address physical, social and emotional indicators of health so that upon the age of 18, the women can confidently reintegrate into society.
To assist to launch of Home For Hope by June 2018, my goal is to raise £5000 over the next 3 months. Any assistance that you, your family or friends could provide would have a significant impact on the lives of a group of vulnerable young women and their children – a cause I am very passionate about.
WHAT WILL YOUR MONEY DO?
- Help pay the rent/electricity/water for the actual home
- Educate and give these women skills to make a living- buying crafts, ingredients for baking (women often sell cakes and bracelets.)
- Help provide badly needed diapers, baby gear, cots and beds.
- Help provide psychology/counselling for the women in the home
HOW WILL THE MONEY GET TO PERU?
I will personally send the money from my account to Steve Wallace (the president and founder of Home For Hope.) His email is stevewallace14@gmail.com if you want to contact him for more information.
