We are looking to support our good friends Jimmy & Catherine Orr following a recent life changing accident that happened to Jimmy and has had a major impact to their normal every days lives.

Jimmy Orr went over to the TT Motorbike races on he Isle of Man in late May 2018 for the holiday he had been waiting for since getting into Motorbikes A fee years ago.

On the small island Jimmy was fulfilling his ambition of riding the TT Course whilst the road was still open to the public and suffered a tragic accident, resulting in him having to be air lifted to Liverpool Hospital.

Upon examination and many scans, xrays and alike, it was found that he had broken his back in several places along with his arm and other bumps and brusies to add to the list of injuries.

Nine weeks on and Jimmy remains in the care of the NHS and the doctors have been very helpful along the period and continue to do great work.

The doctors have said that Jimmy is likely to be wheelchair bound for the rest of his life but there is still hope that he will walk again in the future, something that only time and a lot of hard work, determination and pyhsio will tell.

In the meantime, Jimmy has been so positive in his outlook to what is very much a life changing occurance, supported by his loving wife Cath, parents Jimmy and Christine amongst other family and friends.

At the moment Jimmy and Cath are having to manage their lives around the fact that for the foreseeable future he will be bound to a wheelchair and need to make lots of alterations to how they live, including home access and converting their house into a habitable environment for him to safely call his home.

We are looking to raise some money in order to help them through this difficult period and set Jimmy up to be able to carry out his life as regularly as possible, given his horrific injuries sustained and we ask that if you can spare anything at all to help out, please do so.

As my show of support I am going to compete in the Run Walk Crawl Brecon To Cardiff 42 mile race on 10th February 2019 along with my friend Alison which will nbe a massive test of my abilities but i want to dedicate this to my cousin and good friend Jimmy.
