Story

For the past 5 years, as a friendship group we have met every November and spent an evening donating and creating dignity bags full of feminine hygiene products. These bags have then be split between: Nuneaton food bank, the Methodist Church night shelter, Doorway charity and two other Nuneaton based charities who help women in challenging situations.

No woman or girl should be forced to sacrifice their own comfort, hygiene or safety because they can not afford or access feminine hygiene products. We are acutely aware that this year and the ensuing economic crisis we are all facing will exacerbate this need even more. Every year we have increased the number of bags we have created and last year we reached a total of 320 bags with some going to help women in Ukraine and Poland who were being helped by Nuneaton charities. This year after a couple of years of collective hardship and crisis, we are determined to do what we can to support our community.
