Weʼre raising £4,000 to go to Madagascar and help improve a local community as well as trekking and exploring the country
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
In 2019 I am heading to Madagascar with a organisation called World Challenge. While I'm there I will be doing a trek and community work. The community work could include renovation of a local school or installing water pipes or even building something such as a classroom, in order to improve the standard of living in a local village in Madagascar. Madagascar is one of the poorest countries in the world so the work we do will really benefit a community in a time of need. We will be engaging with the local people and even entertaining the children there by playing games or even teaching them. We also get to organise lot of the trip our self so it will help to improve my organisation and teamwork skills. The trip will be a once in a lifetime experience and I would really appreciate donations to make it possible for me. Thank you for all you help and support in advance.
