Story

KAUR follows the story of a British Sikh girl deciding to wear a turban for the first time, against her fathers wishes. We are turning the short film KAUR into a feature length film, to take to Hollywood and aiming to be the first Sikh British South Asian film to be at the OSCARs and BAFTAs.

We have provided free screenings of our short film KAUR to gurdwara's, schools, and universities. It has been featured in over 34 BBC-Channel 4-ITV-ETALK press interviews. But we need your help to help fund the feature film.

Funding is hard to come by when you are from the Sikh and south asain community in the film industry, so we are asking for your help, to make a film that will change history!

We need the funds to pay for our crew, to attach hollywood actors and a hollywood director to the film so we can give this film the best opportunity to do well worldwide.

Anyone who would like to become an associate producer for £10k, then please contact the team instagram @kaur_film and we can organise a contract for you, so we can invite you to the film set.

Also if anyone donates £5k we will invite you to one of the personal private screenings of the feature.

thank you,

KAUR FlLM team
