I'm currently participating in the national citizen service. We are doing a sponsored bike ride to raise funds to donate to homeless shelters to buy valuable supplies like warm clothes, toiletries etc. Homelessness isn't dealt with on a large scale and we want to make a difficult time more bearable but giving vital daily things that most people take for granted.
