Through a company called World Challenge and her school, Chani has signed up for a 2 year programme to take part in a 3-week educational expedition to Borneo, which will involve trekking through the jungle and working on community projects helping the local communities and wildlife .

This opportunity is a challenging expedition that will significantly benefit the local community and will teach the young team valuable life skills such as leadership, communication and team work.

She has the task of raising £3,000 each through fundraising to cover their costs for the expedition. In order to raise the funds Chani has been very busy organising several events including a quiz, car boot sale, gardening and painting jobs for people in our community, she has been baking and working at the weekends to raise funds.
