Story
THE KAYAK FOR CAM - FLOAT AWAY FUNDRAISER
At the age of 20 my little bro devastatingly thought his only way out was to take his own life.
I am kayaking around the Isle of Man to raise as much cash as possible for the following outstanding Mental Health Charities;
* Isle Listen - who are very proactive, conducting early intervention awareness assemblies in schools as well as 1 on 1 support. They also provide workplace training to encourage supportive working environments.
* Quing - are peer led by those who have been through horrific times and are on their own journey of healing. They help people develop, awareness, motivational skills and counselling qualifications to reintegrate them back into society, who in turn help others. It really is win win.
* Cruse Bereavement Care - helped me through the hardest thing I have ever had to do in my life. Among overwhelming caos *Cruse provided words required to delicately explain to our children they would not see their uncle again. They helped my children and many others understand grief and cope with loss. We cannot thank them enough ❤️
Please kindly donate whatever you can so these fantastic people can continue to do what they do best, for the well-being of our community.
Although the world is full of sufferings, it is also full of overcoming of it. Please help make that happen.

This year there’s a ‘Cam-Pain’ to get ‘Wellbeing Education’ in School as a proactive solution to improve Wellbeing. Wow!! £10,500!! is this thing broken?! It just keeps going up and up! Don’t forget we have an additional £1000 and little bits of cash people are throwing at me to add to that !😳😃 Each and every one of you are amazing! The generosity of Manx public is second to none, credit to you all! 🇮🇲🇮🇲🇮🇲 I’m looking forward to giving these 3 charities a substantial cheque EACH!!
