Kaydan is 8 years old, he lives with is parents - Vicki & Mark and his older brother Dylan whose 10. he was recently diagnosed with a rare form of cancer - only one in 60 children are diagnosed in the u.k every year with this - unfortunately it targeted Kaydan, Rhabdomyosarcoma. These tumours develop from muscle or fibrous tissue and can grow in any part of the body, Kaydan has two tumours on his tongue also spread to his lymph node in his neck, Kaydan is currently being treated at the Royal Manchester Childrens Hospital who are working with Christies also. The family have now been told Kaydan will have too go to America for further treatment alongside his Chemo, the family have been told they will be in America for up to 3 months, NHS will pay for Kaydan's treatment, his mum & dad's flights, but not his older brother, they will also pay for accommodation whilst Kaydan is receiving treatment. So we are doing some fundraising too get his older brother to America with them also to get some money to send with them for everyday living, and to get Kaydan anything he needs whilst in America, as whilst they are in America all the regular bills have to be paid also in the UK. Before Kaydan was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma he was your average healthy 8 year old boy - lets help get him back to this by supporting the family with his fight.
