Story
In October 2018 I will be going to Costa Rica to volunteer to help with turtle conservation on Montezuma beach. Sea turtles are under risk of extinction due to reasons such as human urbanisation and interaction, including city lights and poachers (see this link for further explanation and reasoning: https://www.worldwildlife.org/species/sea-turtle).
The main tasks that need completing by me and many other volunteers are:
-Night patrols
-Reallocating eggs
-Hatchery maintenance
-Turtle release
-Beach cleanup
-Taking and recording measurements
-Construction of new hatcheries
-Conservation awareness
**Please see here for further details on any of these tasks:

The reason I am fundraising for the rest of the funds for the trip is due to going to university in September to study Animal Science, making this an expensive time of year, therefore any extra funding would be very helpful to me.
Thank you so much for reading and for any donations!🐢🏝️
