    Story

Kaylan and Samanyu are walking 100km to raise money for Oxford Cricket Club and Young Leaders in Cricket.

Oxford Cricket Club is our local cricket club and it has men's, women's and youth sections. Oxford Cricket Club's youth section consists of age groups from All Stars (ages 5-8) through to U17s. Samanyu and Kaylan play for the U15s and volunteer to help coach the All Stars. We would like to raise money to provide more equipment for the club.

Young Leaders in Cricket is a programme that gives the opportunity to young people, between the ages 14-19, to acquire new skills and competency in leadership that will allow them to volunteer within the community of their cricket club and/or school. By sponsoring us, you will help enable young people to develop their potential and make a difference to the world.

Thank you for supporting Oxford Cricket Club and Young Leaders in Cricket.

Samanyu and Kaylan have now each walked 100km and together have raised £1120! A truly amazing effort by both boys. Last night they were awarded the Youth Player of the Season award by Oxford Cricket Club to recognise their achievement and contribution to the community. Well done boys! Thank you to all of you for your generous support. The boys could not have done this without you 💕

Well Done, Kaylan and Samanyu! It has not been easy, walking in the hot weather. Very proud of you both volunteering to coach the All Stars and travelling to attend all of the Young Leaders Courses.
