What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

Story

In January - April 2018 I was in South Africa teaching graphic design through zine making workshops for the amazing charity - Dramatic Need to teenagers in underprivileged communities. The aim of the workshops was to teach graphic design skills as well as giving teenagers - who were from oppressed backgrounds - the opportunity to express their views on issues that mattered to them.

In August I'm running a series of three workshops at The Create Place in East London. The workshops are free so that anyone who's interested can attend.

I'm raising money to buy art materials. I'm hoping to do more workshops in the workshops in the future so any materials I buy will be used for them as well.

Here's a list of what I need (I'd be very grateful for all donations whether money or actual items). I also need magazines and newspapers for collage!

A printer or photocopier

Pritt stick/glue
