Story

Every year over 300,00 people are diagnosed with a form of cancer and still people think (as did I) that it will never happen to them...

At the begining of this year my lovely Mum was diagnosed with cancer, a very rare (but luckily curable) form of cancer. No words can describe the feelings both my Mum and our family felt, but knowing that there is a possibility that this could be cured has allowed us to remain positive and hopeful for the future.

This would not have been possible without the constant support from what I like to call the “Clatterbridge Angels” as they have looked after my Mum better than even I could of, you see them day in day out remain upbeat, positive and happy even on the most saddest of days.

So in thanks to Clatterbridge and the amazing research by the Cancer Research Chairty me, my bestfriend Alex and my Sister-in-Law Bex (along with her many friends) have signed up to do the 5K Pretty Muddy Race on Sunday 16th September alongside the Super Woman that is my Mum (yes 5 weeks of intensive chemo and radiotherapy and she still wants to do it!!!).

Please do donate however big or small and lets stop Cancer for good!

🤞❤️
