I've raised £1585 to Create an annual event that takes people with special needs on a social outing in memory of Kazzie Smith.

Well hello again to everyone and I would just like to say a massive thank you for your support so far! This is the second crowdfunding page to raise some pennies to create some days out for people with e learning difficulties in memory of Kazzie Smith. The pages only last 120 days so seeing as I am growing the hair on my noggin for a year we will see some come and go!
We have managed to raise £415 of our £2000 target so far and that is superb people!! Thank you once again! Below I have copied in the original text of what, why and how we are doing this. Thank you again folks you will make a few very special people smile!
Let me tell you about a very special young lady called Kazzie. She was a wonderful young woman who befriended everyone she met. If you could put laughter, love and light into a physical form, it would be Kazzie. Kaz had something called Williams Syndrome which is a missing chromosome disorder but this did not affect her passion for life.
Kaz passed away quite suddenly in February 2017 leaving behind a hole in peoples lives that can never be filled once more.
She will never be forgotten.
But our kaz was a social animal being out and about at various events and clubs almost on a nightly basis and we as a family have decided that this is something that should really continue in her name.
So our aim to raise £2000 this year so we can arrange a social event that all of her friends and coworkers, who also have some form of special need, can be taken out to a show, day trip to the seaside or organise a ball in her honour. This will also provide some respite care for their carers.
There will be many events coming along over time but to begin with I , Nicky Smith her eldest brother, am growing my hair for one year while we get it all up and running properly. And I do mean just growing it. It will not be trimmed, hacked or styled in anyway. At the time of writing I am six weeks in and quite frankly it is driving me nuts already. I thought maybe a couple of inches would grow in a year but as it turns out it will be a great deal longer than that!
This is the first step in fund raising. There will be others getting involved over many different events so dig deep please folks.
We will keep you all updated on what's happening along the way and please share this far and wide!
