Story

KINGSTON COLLEGE , Jamaica, West Indies

The sponsored walk will involve KCOBA UK-EUROPE members covering a 10 km route around Birmingham, UK on Sunday 22nd September 2024.

Founded on April 16, 1925, the School has, for the entirety of its 99 years existence, provided a sound educational package to boys from some of the poorest sections of Kingston and surrounding parishes.

They have managed - through sheer will and philanthropy – to enable all students who pass through their gates to access high quality teaching and welfare support which has, in turn, fostered a culture of inclusion and social responsibility that is evident in the numerous alumni dotted all over the world.

Each of the Alumni Associations around the world has the key responsibility of maintaining a network of old boys who are intent on giving back through fundraising, mentoring and strategic support to the school leadership.

It is this culture that has driven forward the creation of the UK and Europe chapter and we are continue to provide support through Student Scholarships and Student Development programs on an ongoing annual basis.

We will run, walk, jog, skip or hobble along – all while wearing something purple and doing our bit to burn some calories and have fellowship in the name of fundraising.

Please show your support by donating towards this venture. Proceeds will go towards the Student Scholarships and Student Development at Kingston College in Jamaica.

Thanks in advance for your contribution.
