Kettering and District Model Railway Society were looking for a new venue for their annual exhibition. We found greenfields Primary School in Kettering and a show has been booked for sept. 2018 involving club layouts, guest layouts, railway societies and traders. Talking to Jacqui Passmore, senior administrator at the school, we learned that the school staff were very keen on providing a wide range of after school activities as the catchment area is not affluent. We decided on our Exhibition Committee to help set up a Railway Club at the school. Our appeal is for the building of a basic track for the children to learn geometry, electrics and many other skills. It would be fabtastic if the school layout could become an exhibit at the K&DMRS 2019 Exhibition!
