Story
For any woman, period time is the dreaded time of the month, but for a homeless woman it is a nightmare. Without easy access to the (expensive!) luxury of pads or tampons, this can be an extremely stressful and humiliating time. Aside from this emotional impact, many homeless women result to the reusing or over wearing of sanitary items which can lead to infections.
