Hello, my name is Ophelia!

I am 5 years old (I am the one on the right in the pic and I was 3 at the time) and Mum wants to take me to France forever, so has started legal action to take me away from my dad, family and friends who are all here in London where I was born, I am happy and settled and where I lived all my life.

It is a hugely expensive legal process and Dad is on the minimum wage, while Mum is a City executive. Mum made Dad homeless while he was studying for his self-financed postgraduate degree in Law, so he is heavily in debt and still studying in order to qualify as a solicitor in 2019.

Sadly, austerity cuts means also that no legal aid is available, so dad will have to represent me in court but he needs to complete his studies specialising in Family Law as soon as possible so to be able to do the best possible job for me!

There will be first two full days of hearing on the 20 and 21 of December with the subsequent hearings to be held not before mid 2019, so hopefully we will raise enough to enable dad to complete his legal studies in the meantime and have the best possible chance to keep me in London with family and friends and our family together.
