I've raised £2000 to enable Beth to attend the Boaz Project for one day a week

My daughter Beth, age 22, has a neurodegenerative rare disease called Ataxia Oculomotor Apraxia 1. This started when she was two and gradually she lost physical skills and developed a learning disability, epilepsy, visual impairment and other disabling symptoms. Since the age of 9 she has been using a wheelchair full-time. Beth will unlikely ever be able to have a job and so our hopes for her is that she fills the remainder of her life with fun and stimulating activities.
Since April 2017 she has been attending The Boaz Project in Hampshire one day a week, a wonderful organisation that helps young adults with disabilities to achieve greater independence whilst undergoing activities to give them a sense of achievement and fulfilment. It costs £58 a day for her to attend. Up until now we have been able to manage to fund this but now we are struggling. Beth's disability benefits are taken by the government to go towards her care so she is left with only £23 a week to live as a young person would like to live.
Beth loves going to Boaz. She has made a tray for her power wheelchair, a bird box, a beautiful tea cup and saucer for me. It breaks my heart that she may not be able to continue to go. So I am asking for help. I don't do it very often but this is very important to her and us. She deserves to be able to "do" something she enjoys. She is the bravest person I know, who has been through so much but continues to smile. We don't know how long she will be with us but if we can keep her smiling, we will do everything we can do make that happen.
Any donation you can make to help would be so appreciated.
Many thanks
Robyn (Beth's Mum)
