Hi so here is my little story.........

I'm not looking for money to help raise my 2 and a half legged camel or to try and pull on anyone's heart and purse strings.

I'm looking to raise money for my chosen charity MIND.

The reason for this page is, I would like to organise a 3-4 course meal event, along with entertainment.

This event would help raise more awareness of Mental illness amongst men.

All money donated here would go towards, hiring a venue, food and other costs needed. All left over money (if any) along with monies raised at the event would be donated to our chosen charity MIND.

I've been dabbling with the idea for a few years but unfortunately it's took a few recent deaths to finally act upon it.

I along with other volunteers, we would like to contribute in helping blokes, struggling with their demons. To help them open up without feeling ashamed or embarrassed. Suffering in silence before it's too late.

I myself have suffered in the past and occasionally still do. Alot of us lads refuse to seek help as we feel our ego will take a massive dent. There is still a lot of stigma on a very touchy subject.

This is all new to me so if anyone would like to offer advice as well as volunteer and help me move forward with the idea then please get in touch.
