Story

In the absence of any concerted attempt to hold the government accountable for their handling of the corona virus crisis in the U.K. I am seeking crowd funding in order to bring an action under the Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Act 2007.

The Act defines a chargeable offence as:-

1 The offence

(1) An organisation to which this section applies is guilty of an offence if the way in which its activities are managed or organised—

(a) causes a person's death, and

(b) amounts to a gross breach of a relevant duty of care owed by the organisation to the deceased.

Government Departments can be charged.

Charges to answer:

1 The inaction to the findings of Operation Cygnus caused extra loss of life

2 The delay in lockdown caused extra loss of life

3 The dalliance with herd immunity and consequent delay in social distancing measures caused extra loss of life

4 The premature abandonment of contact tracing caused extra loss of life

5 Appropriate levels of PPE were not acquired, and subsequent rationing, caused extra loss of life

6 This and previous government's inadequate funding of essential services, particularly the NHS has caused extra loss of life

I am seeking support in order to mount this action.
