Story

Keith Fergie: Business owner, Perth Indie and the first chairperson of the Perth Traders Association, was a well known and much respected face around the Perth City Centre business scene. He gave up his time, pushed forward in the causes that mattered to us and became the voice of reason in many a debate!

In early 2017, Keith was diagnosed with cancer and after a brief struggle, passed away quickly and peacefully. He has been sorely missed since, and it is the aim of the Perth Traders Association to create a memorial by the new pontoons - something he was a huge advocate of.

We'd like to build a small floral memorial, with a bench, on Tay Street in order that his memory becomes forever part of the vibrancy and enjoyment he fought so hard to bring to his city.

Should there be funds left over, a donation will be made to Cornhill / MacMillan Cancer Research.
