Weʼve raised £2,448 to Provide funds for the siting of a Defibrillator at Kerridge Cricket and Bowling Clubs at Clarke Lane, Bollington, Macclesfield, SK10 5AH.

Funded on Friday, 30th June 2023

    Story

Kerridge Cricket Club, Kerridge Bowling Club and Macclesfield Occasionals Cricket Team are collaborating to fund the purchase of and siting of the Defibrillator on the Cricket Club pavillion. The sport playing area takes in the cricket ground, the bowling green and a football pitch - unsurprisingly the playing area is regularly in use for sporting events. In addition there is an unofficial path through the grounds that is used daily by numerous walkers. To the best of our knowledge there are no other Defibrillator available in the immediate locality.

Hi - thank you all for chipping in to our Defib project. Mollie (our little dog) & I plan to walk the Peak Forest (PF) canal (early to mid April) to raise around £200. This amount plus the residual funds in the JG account should cover the future cost of replacement battery & pads. Please - there is absolutely no need to donate again but if you would mention it to some of your friends / colleagues ……….. they might want to help out. Plan to complete the PF over two days. Will post dates & walk progress images Regards Keith & Mollie

Hi there - hope all well with you. The Defib? - purchased and delivered - see image. Starting the siting / installation process - updates to follow. Huge thank you for your generous donations. Our JG page is still live and would love to attract about another £400 to fund replacement Lithium Battery and Pads. Pads in particular, as replacements would be required in the event of the unit having been used to help someone. Thanks on behalf of everyone involved. Regards Keith & Mollie the little dog.

Plan is for Mollie (our little dog) and I to walk the 27 mile towpath of the Macclesfield Canal. Going to complete it in bite sized chunks over approx six good weather days. Clearly it’s going to be completed at a leisurely pace but hope to have it sorted by Oct end / mid Nov.
