I've raised £750 to support Daft as a Brush Cancer Patient Care

Who is ‘Daft as a Brush’?
I have decided to make an attempt at the Joss Naylor Lakeland Challenge on Saturday 2nd September 2017, which is a run across the Lakeland Fells starting at Pooley Bridge in the east and finishing at Wasdale in the west. The route traverses 30 summits over a distance of 48 miles and climbs 17,000 feet (77km, 5182m).
As this challenge is open to those over 50 years old, I qualify!! The time given to complete the challenge is depending on your age. I’ll be 55 years young by the time of my attempt on 2nd September and will have 15 hours to complete the challenge. Not being one for accepting my age – my aim is to complete the challenge in 12 hours and, at the same time, support the charity, ‘Daft as a Brush Patient Cancer Care.’
The charity offers staffed custom-made vehicles, to transport out-patients, free of charge, to and from hospital, who are going through Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy treatment.
I would be most grateful if you would help me raise some funds for this wonderful cause. Please give via this page, your financial sacrifice will be greatly appreciated and will give me a boost when running over those beautiful Lakeland mountain tops.
Thank you
