Hi, thank you for taking the time to read this. We are asking for help here as we don't know where else to turn.

We desperately need to replace our roof as it is old, crumbling and no longer watertight, but we cannot afford this ourselves as unfortunately my wife suffers from a mental illness and is unable to work and I am her full time carer and I look after our toddler, which means we scrape by on benefits, with no money spare to save for vital home improvements. As winter gets closer, the more worried we are that the roof wont cope with the weather and my wife's illness is getting worse because of the stress and worry and our family life is being dramatically affected.

We hate that we have to resort to asking strangers for help, but there is nothing else we can do. Any donations we receive, we would be eternally grateful for. Please help give us the peace of mind of having a secure, dry home. Thank you.
